Nexgrid Announces Hiring of New Sales & Marketing Executive
10/7/2014 - Nexgrid, a leading provider of advanced metering and smart grid infrastructure based on open standards, today announced the hiring of Scott Wielar. Wielar brings extensive experience leading technology and software companies through rapid periods of growth. Reporting to founder and CEO Costa Apostolakis, Wielar will be responsible for leading Nexgrid’s sales, marketing and business development efforts.
Before joining Nexgrid, Wielar was General Manager of Hubzu, an innovative online real estate marketplace. At Hubzu, he was responsible for all aspects of the business including business strategy, product development, sales and marketing. Previously, Wielar was Chief Marketing Officer and SVP Business Development at SER Solutions, a contact center software company. Prior to SER, he held senior leadership roles at Capital One and Bain and Company. Wielar holds an MBA from Dartmouth and a BS Commerce from the University of Virginia.
