Job Description:

Nexgrid is growing, and we are seeking a Director of Engineering & Project Management to build on our +15 years of success. This role will provide leadership, technical expertise, and strategic direction to develop and maintain a best-in-class smart grid project management team.

You will oversee daily operations, hiring, training, and development of Nexgrid''s Project Managers, ensuring they effectively manage communication, schedules, contracts, and budgets for Smart Grid and Advanced Metering projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing teams in the electric, water, or gas industry
• Knowledge of Advanced Metering and Smart Grid technology
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and challenges
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
• Exceptional leadership skills with a strategic mindset
• BS degree required
